Ability to easily generate 3D pdf of the model geometry / contour plot results directly from GSA

After rows are deleted, update case numbers referenced in description of other combination cases automatically, and similar for other tables
When deleting rows in the Combination Cases list, the cases themselves are automatically renumbered but the case numbers in the description are not updated. This means that the combination case now uses completely different inputs. It feels like a dangerous step to be missing as deleting empty or unnecessary rows is something that is quite often done towards the end to tidy up the model and the combination cases might not be checked again in detail. It is also a functionality that we tend to be so used to from Excel that we don't expect it to be missing here.

GSA offshore
Smarten up the current GSA Wave Loading tool, include Stokes, Stream function and irregular linear waves
Element checking to offshore codes (API and AISC) - if this could be extended to easily checking plates (made up of a number of shell elements) to offshore codes (API 2V and DNV RPC202), this would be a very useful feature
Frequency domain calcs for fatigue, including fatigue life calc of joints
Non-linear analysis (if this is easy to use, this could be a good selling point. USFOS does this, but is about the only "simple to use" tool for push over analysis)

Provide a scripting window in GSA to enable users to write scripts that operate on GSA data.
Depends on 'GSA API enhancements phase 2 (.NET)'.

Pile cap design tool
A pile cap design tool could be developed ( e.g. using new AS3600 2009 strut and tie requirements) We are heavily involved in working through/developing the theory at the moment and with so many projected areas to work through in 3D it strikes me as something that will always be time consuming to do by hand.

Overhaul the Bridge Optimisation
Allow for multiple bridge optimisation analysis tasks in a single model.
Allow the user more control to override in-built code values, such as dynamic factors, lane factors etc.
For the AS5100 bridge loading, allow the specification of different carriageways (Paths) for SM1600 or HLP.25 votes -

CLT shells in GSA
The modelling of Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) shells in GSA is very difficult, as you either have to separately calculate the orthotropic material properties or model each laminate as a separate shell.
This CLT shell definition should either be in the form of a new element type, options to allow user-editing of the stiffness matrix, or a wizard to set up the shell and orthotropic material properties.19 votes -

GSA waveload pre-processor upgrade
upgrade the existing wave load pre-processor to use Fenton theory for water waves in shallow water. Currently the wave kinematics only solve in deep water. Also wave kinematics should be output for separate calculation of loads on appurtenances.

Static Pushover Analysis
The provision of Static Pushover analysis within GSA would help engineers in the design of structures subject to seismic loading, allowing inelastic response characteristics to develop in the model in a quick and manageable way without the need for heavy FEA.

AdSec SLS M-N plot for a given crack width to BS EN 1992-1-1:2004
It would be beneficial to be able to plot SLS M-N diagram in AdSec for a given section and crack width. This would allow us to plot multiple points within one diagram (easy graphical representation) rather than inputting multiple load cases into AdSec (and having a tabular output only).

GSA API enhancements phase 2 (.NET)
- Extend the COM interface to offer faster access to frequently used objects.
- Simplify and extend the interface to post-processed results.
Do this by the implementation of a .NET interface to GSA.
Also provide .NET interfaces to AdSec, ADC and Compos.
Depends on refactoring of program code.
