How can we improve Oasys Structural software in a BIG way?

AdSec analysis of sections from within GSA

- analyse sections within GSA with forces of a specific load case or combinations
- plot utilisation factor diagrams or similar on GSA model.

Depends on the completion of 'Generalise Section Objects'

This could be simplified to GSA writing an ADSEC input file that contains the section data and loading from the combinations cases selected within GSA. Essentially the ADSEC input file would be complete except for the reinforcement.

This depends on the completion of 'Generalise section objects' [http://oasys.uservoice.com/forums/243571-structural-feedback-big-ideas/suggestions/5593746-generalise-section-objects].

The 'Generalise section objects' feature will include a Section Wizard shared between GSA, AdSec, ADC and Compos that allows the full definition of a section for any of those programs (while still keeping it simple to specify a simple section for use by, say, only GSA - a tricky circle to square!). So 'create reinforced sections within GSA' is already covered.

The 'Generalise section objects' feature is being introduced to facilitate the transfer of data between products in the suite, whether from program to program or apparently integral. 'analyse sections within GSA with forces of a specific load case or combinations' and 'plot utilisation factor diagrams or similar on GSA model' are good examples of these.
