GSA element releases per stage
Implement option to apply releases by stage to allow:
After implementing the Compos engine into GSA for design purposes, allow the user to toggle between using the same model for footfall vibration analysis and for static checks. This would for example allow the beam ends to be fixed for the footfall vibration (though with user-overides) but maintain them as simply-supported for a static composite beam check)
This is partially implemented in 9.0: you can switch releases on and off in the stages
Note that joints (and other constraints) act in node constraint axis directions, which default to global but can be specified as a user defined axis set.

You mention the composite beam footfall restraint assumptions as the example of where this would be useful.
Where I would see a big use for this is in the staged analysis of structures where beams initially span simply supported under self weight and perhaps wet concrete loads, and then are built in and continuous for subsequent stages. At present there are a number of ways to "skin this cat" but they are all work-arounds and present additional modelling challenges.
Bridge engineers would see big benefit in this functionality when analysing continuous or integral bridge decks incorporating precast bridge beams or steel composite.
